Booth rent or commission — she has run both

The operator's mentor.

Thirty-three years behind and beside the chair. A commission salon in New York she built, ran for fifteen years, and sold to one of her own stylists. A booth-rental salon in Florida she still runs today. And a decade leading education for L'Oréal Professionnel.

Not a course. Not a Facebook group. One-on-one, with the systems that actually ran the floor.

30 minutes. No pitch, no obligation — we either fit or we don't.

Why her

Most people selling salon advice have never made payroll.

Jessica has — on both sides of the argument the whole industry is having right now. She didn't study these two models. She owned them.

New York · Commission

Built it. Ran it. Sold it.

  • Years running it15
  • StructureTiered commission
  • ExitSold in 2022
  • Sold toOne of her own stylists
Florida · Booth rental

Still runs it today.

  • Years running it5
  • StructureChair rental
  • Her stylistsIndependent renters
  • StatusOpen, hers, running

And for part of that run, the New York salon operated both models under one roof at the same time. So when you ask whether to rent your chairs, hire a team, or convert the whole thing — she is not theorizing. She has done it, priced it, staffed it, and lived with the consequences. Her career now is spent helping other people perfect theirs.

Owners don't fail from a lack of talent. They fail from not understanding the math — and from not having clean guidelines and expectations.

Who this is for

Three people show up here. See which one is you.

01

You're going independent

You're leaving commission for a booth, a suite, or your own four walls — and you've just realized you're about to run a business nobody ever taught you to run. Rent, pricing, taxes, the break-even math, what to sign and what to walk away from. Jessica has sat on both sides of that lease.

02

You own it and you're stuck in the chair

The salon works because you're in it. You want a team that holds standards without you standing there, numbers you can actually read, and pay structures that don't quietly eat the profit. That's systems work — hiring, onboarding, comp, retail, retention, the boring documented stuff that lets a salon outgrow its owner.

03

You want to teach

You're good enough that people ask you how you did it, and you're wondering how to turn that into stage time, a brand relationship, and income that isn't tied to your own two hands. Jessica went from the chair to running education for a global color brand. She knows exactly how that door opens.

Work with me

Start with a conversation. Not a contract.

Every one of these begins with the same free call, so nobody commits to anything before we both know it's a fit.

The fit call

  • Where the business actually is right now
  • The one or two things costing you the most
  • An honest answer on whether I can help
Most people start here
02
One session

Strategy intensive

  • Ninety minutes, one problem, solved properly
  • You leave with a written plan and a strategy
  • Pricing, comp, the go-independent math, or whatever is on fire
03
Three months

One-on-one mentorship

  • A one-hour call every week. Twelve of them, just the two of us
  • Your numbers, your team, your systems — built with you
  • Email me between calls. You get an answer inside 24 hours

Five clients at a time. That's the whole roster. It's the only way one-on-one stays one-on-one — and it's why the fit call matters more than any sales page.

What each of these costs, we'll talk about on the call, once we both know what you actually need. You will never be quoted a price before that conversation.

However you want to do it

On a screen, or standing in your salon.

Most of this works beautifully over video — she has taught stylists in nine countries. But some things are better seen in person: a floor plan that isn't working, a team that needs to hear it from someone who isn't you, a walkthrough before you sign a lease.

In-person sessions happen at Jessica's office here in Florida. She will travel to you as well; travel is arranged separately.

Inside the salon floor

In their words

The people who did the work.

Stylists she trained and worked beside, in their own words. Nothing here was written for her.

“Jessica’s mentorship helped shape me into the stylist I am today. She taught me the value of professionalism, hard work, and understanding the business behind the chair.”

Caitlin

“When I first met Jessica, she was not only my boss, but became my biggest mentor. She taught me the ins and outs of how to run a successful business and most importantly, how to be a successful Artist. Almost 2 decades later and I still hold and respect all the knowledge and values she has shared with me.”

The next step

Book your free fit call.

Thirty minutes. Phone or Zoom, your choice. Open the calendar to see what is still free, then take the time that works for you.

  1. Pick a day and a time that suits you.
  2. Leave your name and number. That is the whole form.
  3. We talk for thirty minutes. If it's a fit, we'll say so. If it isn't, you'll still leave with something useful.

No card, no deposit, no obligation. She takes five one-on-one clients at a time, so the call is how we both find out.

Tell Jessica where you are and what's in the way. She'll read it herself and come back to you — usually within a day.

If you'd rather just book, the calendar above is faster.

Goes straight to Jessica. No list, no drip, no nonsense.
